We are looking for a Privacy Counsel (Contractor), temporary, full time for a 12 month commitment starting Mid Feb 2025.
Please note if you can’t do the below we cannot progress your application:
- Location: Stockholm, 2/3 days in the office.
- Day rate: based on 3-6 years PQE
- Essential: Privacy Counsel within computer gaming sector or similar
About the Role:
We’re looking for a skilled Privacy Counsel on a 12-month contract. You’ll collaborate with the existing Privacy Team before taking the lead, providing expert guidance on privacy-by-design for mobile games and apps, marketing, ad-tech, and compliance with global privacy regulations.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and enhance a global privacy program, ensuring compliance and addressing emerging privacy risks.
- Partner with game studios and central engineering teams to integrate privacy-by-design into products and solutions, focusing on mobile games/apps and related data practices.
- Provide advice on age differentiation, ad-tech, and iOS/Android compliance for mobile platforms.
- Support internal policies, data governance, and cross-functional teams managing regulatory and third-party relationships.
- Monitor compliance, analyse processes, and adapt the program to meet evolving global regulations.
What We’re Looking For:
- the role is suitable for someone 3-6 years PQE
- Proven experience in mobile gaming, ad-tech, and privacy.
- Expertise in consumer technology or entertainment, with knowledge of digital product launches.
- Strong communication, legal research, and analytical skills.
- Bonus: CIPP, CIPP-E, or technical background.
