We are supporting a major multinational organisation undergoing a large-scale international restructuring, legal entity integration and simplification programme across multiple jurisdictions.

This is a highly operational, delivery-focused role sitting within a specialist restructuring tax team working across complex multinational entity structures.

The role will suit someone with strong international restructuring and integration experience who has operated hands-on within large multinational environments and is comfortable managing the practical implementation of complex restructuring activity rather than operating purely at high-level advisory or governance level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting multinational legal entity integration and restructuring projects across multiple jurisdictions, primarily Europe
  • Working alongside external advisers to help design and implement restructuring solutions
  • Holding the pen on restructuring step plans and transaction sequencing documentation
  • Identifying tax implications, restructuring risks and implementation issues across complex group structures
  • Coordinating internal stakeholders across Tax, Finance, Legal and Project teams
  • Managing delivery against project plans, tollgates, deadlines and implementation milestones
  • Supporting post-implementation activity including elections, filings, clearances, opinions, memos and follow-up actions
  • Working across both operational entities and wider legal entity simplification activity where required

Key Requirements

  • Strong multinational restructuring and/or legal entity integration experience
  • Experience operating within large multinational or matrix group structures
  • Practical experience implementing restructurings rather than purely advising on them
  • Experience preparing or coordinating restructuring step plans and transaction implementation activity
  • Strong understanding of cross-border entity structures, intercompany considerations and restructuring mechanics
  • Comfortable working directly with senior stakeholders and external advisers in fast-moving programme environments
  • Hands-on, pragmatic and delivery-oriented approach

Strongly Preferred

  • Combination of Big 4 and in-house multinational experience
  • Experience supporting carve-outs, integrations, post-acquisition restructuring or operating model changes
  • Exposure to legal entity simplification programmes alongside operational integration work
  • International tax and corporate restructuring exposure across multiple jurisdictions

Profile

  • ACA / ACCA / CTA qualified (or equivalent experience)
  • Commercially minded with strong operational judgement
  • Comfortable operating autonomously in complex transformation environments
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Able to balance technical analysis with practical implementation and delivery

This is not a pure compliance or advisory role. The successful candidate will be expected to operate directly within live restructuring and integration programmes, driving projects through implementation and resolution.
